Matcha Tea Waffles

Whether you're a matcha lover or not, this is a great breakfast treat if you're into sweet over savory 😌 Grab the below ingredients and let's get started with a delectable, melt in your mouth, breakfast treat!

Ingredients:

Pancake Mix ( Aunt Jemima Preferred )

Milk ( or milk substitution )

Junction Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha

Cream Cheese

Stick of butter

Vanilla Extract

Powdered Sugar

Heavy Whipping Cream

Strawberries 

Waffle Maker

Start with a large bowl and gather all of the below ingredients - we are going to go ahead and get your waffle mix prepared:

 

1 cup pancake mix

1/2 cup oat milk 

1/2 cup water 

1 teaspoon matcha 

 

Whisk Together, Set aside

Before you begin making your waffles, you want to go ahead and get your toppings prepared as well so that you can drizzle over waffles while everything is nice and fresh.

 

Cream Cheese Frosting

Grab The Following and put together in a medium mixing bowl:

  • 8oz Cream Cheese ( softened )
  • 4tbs of butter ( softened )
  • 1tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar

Mix on High Speed For 3 Minutes, set aside

 

Whipping cream 

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Last but not least, in a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer or whisk, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip the mixture until it starts to thicken and stiff peaks form. Set in the refrigerator.

Then pour your mixture into your waffle maker, and add a teaspoon of butter the each waffle once fully cooked.

Cut 4 strawberries 

Drizzle frosting ( plus a drizzle of syrup if desired ). Top with whipped cream. Garnish with strawberries. And serve!
